Climate

Andorra’s climate is Mediterranean-mountain type, summers are warm and winters cold, with substantial snowfalls. Temperatures change considerably between the lower and higher areas (differences of 4º or 5º C), due to the great variation in altitude. The average low is -2º C and the average high is 24º C. Snowfall is frequent and the total rainfall varies between 700 and 1,100 millimetres a year, mostly between October and May.
